I always have a problem while writing is that, i can’t keep that word count in my mind. So my posts sometimes become lengthy. So influenced by a fellow blogger Lenore, I’ve decided to devote the next few (or more) Fridays to drabbles.
What is a drabble? “a drabble is a very short story of exactly 100 words.”
Just as Steve and Lenore do when they drabbles, I invite you to participate and suggest you tag your post with ‘Friday Drabble’ and use the hashtag #fridaydrabble on Twitter.

Holidays got over. Now it was time to go back to college. I was standing near the entrance of the bus, saying “good bye” to my parents.
Suddenly, I saw her coming towards the same bus. We both looked at each other, with anger, shame, pain & little bit love in our eyes.
Heart started beating faster; mind slowly asked me a question “Will she talk to me this time, after so many years?” She came and went passed me as if we never knew each other.
At last my heart said to my mind , “Let’s end it here”.

I am not sure, if i can post a longer version of this one in my blog. Still i will give it a try 🙂
But i think you must give it a try to this challenge of posting something in 100 words, it’s really fun and challenging.

” Drabble,” sounds like a great tool to create something that makes an impression without being lengthy. This one stuck in my brain,” Heart started beating faster; mind slowly asked me a question “Will she talk to me this time, after so many years?” She came and went passed me as if we never knew each other.
At last my heart said to my mind , “Let’s end it here”.” This sounded so deep but at one point of my younger life I felt the same way when a relationship ended. You have a gift with words Bro, hope you continue to inspire the world with our stories.

Thanks a lot bro. 🙂
Yes each one of us, at one point of our lives, went through similar phase. Some have the courage and honesty to confess it, and some do n’t have. Still i wanted to bring that feeling on paper, because i feel life is too short to wait for a person, who do not deserve that!
Merry Christmas to you & your family bro. May you people get all happiness, joy & peace in life. As always all my best wishes are with you all. 🙂

Wow — your experiment of 100 words was kicked off with a bang! Sensational post, Arindam. I felt your place in time, your roaring emotions, and the end really tied it together.
What you’ve done here is poetry.
This new part of your blog will be my favorite, I am sure, as you rise to the challenge of condensing your many emotions into so few words. And making them even more powerful because of it. Very well done.
