I always have a problem while writing is that, I can’t keep that word count in my mind. So my posts sometimes become lengthy. So influenced by a fellow blogger Lenore, I’ve decided to devote the next few (or more) Fridays to drabbles.
What is a drabble? “a drabble is a very short story of exactly 100 words.”
Just as Steve and Lenore do when they drabbles, I invite you to participate and suggest you tag your post with ‘Friday Drabble’ and use the hashtag #fridaydrabble on Twitter.

“Congrats” nurse said and handed over a cute little baby to my hands. I hold that innocent life with my trembling hands and gathered enough strength in them to make him feel safe.
That cute little baby, having features in his face just like me, gave me a feeling “I must be looking like him, when I was born.”
He was blinking his eyes looking at me. Holding a life of dream in my hand, I realized – “Now my dreams, happiness, success, failure are not only mine.” I looked towards my mom & said- “it’s time to turn the page.”

Who would’ve thought something so wonderful could be written in so few words. The last quote is very meaningful.
