Whenever I hear the word “big”, the only one term which I relate to this word is “Dream”. As humans, most of us have the tendency of dreaming big. But only dream can never help a person to achieve everything he desires. And only hard work can also never help someone to make his dream to come true. We all need blessing of God which some people also call as luck. So somehow God is directly or indirectly related to the term “Big”. These are the pictures of the biggest temple of my hometown, which I took during my last visit.
May God (in whatever form you believe) bless you all, to make all your big dreams come true in this birth of yours.

Thank you for the beautiful thought, and for the encouragement to not only dream, but to work to make them come true.
Thanks Elisa. I am glad you liked my message and pictures. Have a great weekend!

Great post Arindam…very thoughtful
Thank you Jo!
Thanks Arindam! for the blessings. Which temple is this?
You are welcome, Sapna!
It’s Lord Jaganath’s Temple.
Goodness me Arindam that is a beautiful blessing. Thank you.
I’d love to see more photos of the temple – it’s magnificent.
Yes my state is famous for temples. Our capital city is called as temple city. Yes I have many pictures of these temple. I’ve kept them for my book. But for sure I will post few more in blog in coming days. Have a great weekend Rosie Auntie.
I love the impressed/carved? detail work in the arches of the temple. What are the colorful figures near the top? That must be a pretty big palm tree next to it, too! Good selection for the challenge.
Those colorful figures at the top are statues of lions. Yes those palm trees are really big. I’ve been seeing them in those places since my birth.
thanks for the wishes and may yours be fulfilled too with his blessings.
Thank You for the wish too. Blessing does count.
It always does..
You have a BIG heart to share such a sweet sentiment. Big dreams are wonderful to have.
Thanks for the reminder.
Yes I am not sure about others, but I always dream big. I aim for sky, without knowing where I am going to land.
Thanks as always making my day special with your kind words, Angelia.
Beautifully conceived and depicted….:)
Thanks a lot.
I opened this photo on my phone, but had to check it out again when I got home so I could admire it more completely. Beautifully shown.
Thank you Barb.
Yes you must check this post again as it’s for the first time I’ve posted something from my hometown in my blog.
The temple in your hometown is stunning, Arindam. You are right about making it big, it takes hard work. I have a saying: Everything in life comes down to how bad you want it.
Blessings to you ~ Maxi
Yes Maxi, there are many temples which are built in 17th and 18th century (or much before
) by our kings. It’s one among them. Yes the effort and man power used to build these temples are huge. I am glad you liked it. ENjoy your weekend, Maxi!
Great post Arindam. I enjoyed the writing as much as the photos, very well said.
Thanks a lot Jeff. Yes I wanted to spread this message via this post. I am glad you liked my thought behind this post.

Thank You Darla!
I hope you are having a great weekend as your classes are not going to be there for next two days.
I like your understanding of Big. May your big dreams and hard work be blessed by the One who is the supreme big. Sharon
Thanks a lot for such a beautiful wish, Sharon.
Your blessing means a lot.
That’s a great interpretation of big, Arindam. Dream big, and may you achieve that dream.
Thanks a lot Imelda for this beautiful wish. Best wishes to you too!
This is a beautiful wish, and a great idea for the post! Hello Arindam
Thank You, Paula!
I am glad you liked this idea.
Nice to see you again Arindam , beautiful post for this week theme big
Thanks a lot Jake. Great to see you again here my friend.
Dream big, Arindam. Without dreams, there is nothing to aim for. Your photos and your idea fit.
Yes that’s what I am doing since last few years of my life. Although I am not sure where it’s going to take me.
Thank you Arindam… I’m blessed, indeed, and I’m very gratful… because of this, I try to help other to reach their goals in life!
claudine
Serenity and a lovely sunday
You are doing a great job by helping others, Claudine. Lots of good wishes for you. May you get all those things which you desire from life. Have a great Sunday!
If you aren’t going to dream big, it certainly doesn’t seem worth it to dream at all. I love that it was what you thought of, taking the challenge inward and finding a ‘big’ space within yourself. Great job.
Thanks Renee. You are the one who helped me to dream big. And I will always remain thankful to you for that.
Well said Bro. So much truth in every word. We not only work hard for our dreams but need a higher force to make it real. That’s when God comes in. Some people think all their success is all theirs until they start lossing them one by one. Beautiful picture.
Yes bro I too believe we need to be humble when we are victorious. Because there is a higher force which brought us the victory. I am glad you liked my words and pictures.
Have a great week ahead bro!
Thanks for your blessing! Unfortunately, when I see the word big, what comes to mind are ubiquitous over-stuffed, fat Americans. Awful. We have become such a bloated nation . . .in so many ways.
BTW, I love your image. It reminds me of an amusement park in California that I thought was very cool. I haven’t been there in years, and I suspect it doesn’t look as cool now as it does in my memory of it.
