Every year, on May 29th wishes pour up on me; some work and some of them do not. Still this is life we can’t expect to get everything we desire. May be that’s best part of the Birth day celebration ; the realization of the time we spent in this planet and what we did with that time.
For me more than the celebration it’s a reminder that, I just passed one more stop of this journey called life. Sometimes I get worried thinking that, if one life will be sufficient for the things I want to achieve in life.
Then I look at myself at mirror and realize- I am not that much hard working, I am not that much focused most importantly I am not dedicated to anything. So in this competitive world- the people who work harder than me, deserved to be in that place first where I dream to reach.
Still I am a human, so like everyone else I do hope, I do dream, I do wish, I do Pray and I do believe that One day I will be there, where I want to be.
I just wish next year I will not celebrate this day, because I was born on this day; but because I will prove God right for sending me to this planet with specific talent. If not next year then….. may be the year after….
That’s why I believe, “Life goes on as it never ends….. “
Lastly and most importantly….. Thank you all who sent me your blessings and good wishes … They mean a lot. In reply I can only thank you all from the bottom of my heart……

Thanks a lot Martin. 🙂 Yes I had a good time. Actually I do not celebrate Birth day as we do not have that one as our family tradition. But this time it was exception, as I was with my close friends. And I am still feeling the after effect of those birthday bumps. 🙂

I had no doubt that you will find your place in this world, Arindam. Things unfold in their own time and as they are meant to. I’m flattered you think so, Arindam. I’m just hanging in there like everybody else. Hoping the choices I make today will pan out tomorrow. In the meantime, life goes on. Be sure to take time, along the way, to stop and smell the roses. Working toward retirement is great, but don’t forget that really, today is all we have. So, try to find a little Joy in each day as it comes. I suspect your mother has told you that, too. As you get older, you begin to realize how much you missed in life worrying about things whose time has not yet come. 🙂

Amy aunty, it’s my 27th year on this planet. 🙂 And I will never mind, if you will scold me for something also. You have the rights to do so. 🙂
As you have said,I am going to enjoy every moment of freedom. And again I am having a feeling that, may be I am going to share my life with someone special soon. Lat time I decided to do so was when I was 17 years old and things worked in other way. And now I am 27, so my gut feeling says that something will happen this year. 🙂

Oops…I let three candles muddle my brain! We often put a candle per decade on our cakes. I knew you were 26 and forgot. Happy 27th.
The good thing about having tasted love before is that we are reminded that we enjoy loving another and that we are loveable.
One of my teachers told me that I would know I was ready for a love relationship when I no longer felt I needed a loving partner. However, I went overboard and became far too independent through my intense focus on career. During those times, I felt safer in my head than in my heart.
May you keep a good balance, my keen young nephew.
