“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.” -Ernest Hemingway

Never forget to look down, when you are at the peak of your life... because everything a human needs to survive is present there.
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” -Walt Disney
“It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.” -Vince Lombardi
Everything looks beautiful from the top, but to check the reality a person needs to get down. It’s pictures of place, where all the garbage are thrown of my locality… still it looks beautiful from top
“So go ahead. Fall down. The world looks different from the ground.”

True Friends are those people, who will stand by your side, when you are down and need someone else's hand to get up again..
“A friend is someone who helps you up when you’re down, and if they can’t, they lay down beside you and listen.”
A person has to go through ups & downs, in both his personal & professional life. We all want to reach to the top; and there is nothing bad in this. But when we all reach that peak of our career; we are so busy celebrating that success and enjoying that status that position which success gives us, we forget that from where we started our journey. Even we forget that, there is a possibility that again we may see the down; because as people say nothing lasts forever and nothing is permanent in this world. So how could success be?
So we must not forget those people, who stand by our side, who extend their hands to support us, when we are down. Success brings lots of people in to a person’s life; but they do not come closer due to that person; they come closer due to that success and everything else success offers to that person. But there is very little probability that, those people will stay with him, once success goes away from that person. Each one of us needs to become that much intelligent to understand the real truth of life. Who knows, what will tomorrow bring to all of us?
When we are standing at the top and looking down, although the view is beautiful; but it’s quite impossible to differentiate things according to their nature. Everything looks so small and quite similar to each other. But to realize the worth of each one, a person needs to get down, to have a closer look. We can have a bigger picture, a broader view of everything when we are on top. But to feel them and to get a real picture we need to come down.
We must not afraid to get down, because that is the place to which we all belong and that is the point from where our journey of life started. The people who love us & care for us will be there for sure to help us & support us; when we will again start our journey to reach the top.

Invitation to you all-
I invite you all to my new photo blog. If you have time to pay a visit, then here is the link, Arindam’s Photography.

“So go ahead. Fall down. The world looks different from the ground.” I always look up to ceilings – especially when I’m waiting – and then imagine how different the room was, if everything was turned upside-down. Some rooms would be nearly impossible to walk, you’d have to climb about tubes (what fun!), others would be much more orderly… And if you stare hard enough in the sky imagining to fall with the whole earth through the universe, you can actually feel dizzy…
And yes, good – real – friends are the ones who stand right beside you, if you’re down, the others are just people you know (and maybe like nevertheless).
Great entry!
Thank you Cassie.
And yes real friends are those people who will be by your side, with out caring about your success graph.
Cassie, I even do the same and wonder what if everything was turned upside down.
As always nice to see you here. My best wishes to you.
How creative and nice challenge. I like them.
Thank you Cocomino.
I enjoyed looking at your photos as well as reading your take on the word “down”. It is true what you say – we should never forget those who help us in our achievements. Looking down on them will erode our very soul. And we should never forget that life can be fickle and that we could be “down” once again. Nice post!

Like John Donne said, no man is an island. If he were alive to say it today, he would have included women as well. Successes are always the results of those who have had previous successes, or those who take the time to teach and help us with ours

Bro, it’s like me thinking it but your wrote it way better, with more generous and inspring words to go with the beautiful photos. This one is so true when you said, “Never forget to look down, when you are at the peak of your life.” We should never forget where we came from and who are they people who helped us along the way. Another is food for thought, “True Friends are those people, who will stand by your side, when you are down and need someone else’s hand to get up again..” This kind of friends are real gems….
Wonderful post my friend. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks a lot Bro. Your comments always bring that feel good factor to my blog. But to be honest I am not sure if I did it in a better way or not. But one thing for sure, both of ours approach towards life is very similar. I hope I can achieve all those things, you have achieved in your life.
What ever I wrote in this post, was from my personal experience. I am glad these thoughts touched your heart. Bro… I am sending a big hug to you.
Great photos! Enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for sharing your perspective on this week’s theme.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind thoughts.
Thanks a lot for the visit. I am glad you liked this post.
Hope to see you here again. Best wishes to you.
Nice photos and deep words
You are right that there are shallow people who will only want to know you while you are successful but will quickly move on to the next big thing… Isn’t that what the pop and film industries are like? But for everyone, there are always those few special people who will always be their friend regardless – the first and foremost being their chosen partner. Good post
Thanks a lot.
Yes, you are absolutely right, the pop & movie industries are perfect example of this concept. Still we all get some wonderful people to help us, support us & walk with us in our bad times; but we all need to value those relationships in our good times.
Thank you for taking the time to read this one and sharing your thought here. It feels nice to see you here.
Every once in while we need to fall down, if nothing else to notice that we have been to the top. Without bottoms there are no tops, no matter how high they may be. I think you are very right Arindam, success does not bale for friendship. Friend that friends because you have achieved success will never be real friends. It’s when you are down you know who your real friends are. As you so beautifully say; True Friends are those people, who will stand by your side, when you are down and need someone else’s hand to get up again.
By the way the photograph of friends holding around you (?) – the last one – is so full of positive energy and beautifully captured.
Thanks a lot. But the I am not among my friend in that last photograph. I was the one who captured it.
I am glad that, you liked my take on friendship. And yes, without bottoms there are no top. I am just waiting to see the top, as I have already seen bottom in my life. And I realized who are my true friends, once I reached that bottom phase of life. So yes, that phase taught me lots of lessons in life.
Fantastic stuff, my friend. Your photography is excellent! Great capture of “down”.
Thanks a lot Mj. You always inspire me. So thank you for that. I read your post on twitter hash tags. I will comment on that soon. But your new url is asking too many questions before commenting.
I will be there soon, to make my presence felt.
For now I can tell you, you have reached a new height through your new blog. Best wishes to you my wonderful friend. May you get everything you deserve in llife.
The pics are brilliant and you raise an important point, Arindam… that we must never forget the people who helped us in life and we should be proud of our roots..
Thanks a lot Mal for these kind words. These words mean a lot to me.
